UNIQLO Clothing Drive Benefiting St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco

UNIQLO on Powell Street will work to collect 1000 pieces of gently used UNIQLO clothing to donate to St. Vincent de Paul, one of the largest homeless shelters in San Francisco. The St. Vincent de Paul shelter serves about 10,000 low-income individuals a year - distributing clean clothes, shoes, and other useful items to those most in need in the city. They are facing a critical clothing shortage now, especially for men’s clothing. Store Hours: 11 am to 8 pm

What is Portfolio Night?

Portfolio Night is a platform created for fashion and art industry professionals including: models, photographers, stylists, fashion designers, bloggers, media professionals and graphic artists. It is a networking event where attendees share their portfolio with others in a show-and-tell format.

Each presenter is given about 10 minutes to present their portfolio. Constructive criticism is given by the audience. It is a workshop environment where attendees are encouraged to brainstorm and share new ideas including career advises. Learn on a grassroots level and connect with guests who have the same goals and passion about their work in the arts and fashion industry.
