Chic Squad at The eBay Fashion Selling Style Studio

eBay’s Selling Style Studio, which was recently featured on E! News, will be in San Francisco’s Union Square on July 20thth and 21st. Members of the eBay Chic Squad, including celebrity stylist Danielle Nachmani and top fashion seller Sarah Davis, will be on hand to walk attendees through the process of cashing in on fashion.

The eBay Selling Style Studio has been touring in different cities all summer. The team sets up a “selling studio” where participants can come learn about the eBay selling process. eBay is encouraging people to switch up their closet (sell the things they no longer want to make room and cash for the new summer/fall articles they want). Business owners who work in fashion, marketing, technology, art and design related professions introduced their businesses and/or products, explained what they do, discussed their industry challenges and the nature of their internship opportunity, followed by a Q&A session. Mentors then met and interacted with participants and guests. Students and entrepreneurs alike attended this alternative career workshop. Internship opportunity and requirements are determined by each mentor. Resumes recommended.

So I guess I am officially on the dark side. I am ‘slightly’ obsessed with my iPhone and I won’t deny it! So after downloading Facebook and Twitter (respectively) I got the Instagram app and instantly loved it!

I now take photos of everything and share them with my peeps (this includes everything from decadent meals, amazing fashion finds and even my beloved city by the bay)

As I bid adieu to 2011 and prepare to welcome the new year, I leave you with some of my favorite snapshots from recent months (well, to be exact just December!)

  • Portfolio/Pitch Night is a platform created for creative professionals. It is a networking event where attendees present their product pitches and/or share their portfolio with others in a show-and-tell format. Industry Meetup for the creative professionals, fashion & arts, tech, mobile apps, non-profit, startups, entrepreneurs, online marketers, service providers and students. Each presenter is given about 10 minutes to present their pitch or portfolio. When presenting a portfolio, constructive criticism is given by the audience. It is a workshop environment where attendees are encouraged to brainstorm and share new ideas including career advises. Learn on a grassroots level and connect with guests who have the same goals and passion about their work in the arts and fashion industry. 
  • FASHION + TECH SF is San Francisco’s longest running workshop combining ‘business of fashion’ and ‘fashion and technology’ formats. From it’s inception in February 2010, Fashion+Tech SF’s mission has been to provide an open dialogue that serves as a forum on how to develop innovative solutions to become better business entrepreneurs.
