REBEKAH ILIFF is an organizational management, development, and communications professional who has served clients across multiple industries and across the globe for over eight years. She is a senior leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership who excels in solving challenging and complex problems. Rebekah’s valuable depth of experience launching startups, reengineering infrastructures, and developing and implementing business and marketing plans that facilitate growth, build brand equity, and increase ROI have made her one of the most trusted small to medium size business (SMB) consultants in Southern California.  Rebekah holds a B.A. in Philosophy (Cum Laude) from Loyola University Chicago, and an M.A. in Organizational Management and Applied Community Psychology from Antioch University at Los Angeles (AULA). She has authored and co-authored articles that have appeared in VentureBeat, StartupAmerica, PR Daily, PR Sunrise, the Mega Startup Weekend blog, and the Office of Technology Management blog (University of Illinois).

AMBER LANE: Amber has always loved documenting her life through pictures and journal entries. So she decided to start a blog to share her inspirations, adventures and her favorite things. She loves fashion, traveling, good food and wine. She often references pop culture, song lyrics and quotes from movies. Her blog is a compilation of the clothes she wears, her adventures, and the people, places and things that inspires her. Her blog is Amber’s Notebook at: http://www.ambersnotebook.com/

ANDREA KRYSTINE: Ecologique Fashion was developed by model and Art Director Andrea Krystine, Ecologique Fashion is an eco fashion blog and an online magazine. The goal of Ecologique Fashion is to educate consumers about the importance of sustainability, while supporting green designers and ethical business owners. Ecologique: Fashion for a Green Future is the annual fashion event featuring eco-concious designers who impact the fashion industry. Soon, she was convinced by a friend to write about the lifestyle adventure of living in San Francisco as a parent. On Savvy in San Francisco, Melissa shares her journeys, city happenings, acquired fashion bargains, baby or gadget obsessions and lots of daily photos.

MIGNON GOULD is the editor-at-large of Thechicspy.com. The blog is a whimsical blend of class and sass from a sartorial sleuth. She’s always on the hunt for the hottest of hot, exposing the next big fashion heist, or investigating the looks of elusive red carpet celebs, those who are trés chic and those who merely shock. She never shows up to foil a fashion caper without being dolled up with her trademark orange trench, sporting oversized sunglasses, carrying a designer tote and flashing her handy-dandy magnifying glass for sartorial sleuthing. So be warned, next time you’re spotted by her out on the town; be stylish, be debonair, but above all, BE CHIC, because she’s on a mission to uncover the chicest in style and entertainment!

The Beauty Expo 2011. Styling Competition Judges

On his arrival to SF’s city scene, Allure magazine named Griffin, “One of the top stylists in San Francisco!” He received his training from the Aveda Institute and began his career in top salons in Minneapolis and Los Angeles while also freelancing for movies, commercials and music videos. After years of working the salon grind, he embarked on his own and continued to build his reputation from his loft in SOMA. It was during his solo work that his female clients inspired the concept for the barber lounge. A hip, unpretentious place to bring their guys for some much needed maintenance while receiving their own upscale treatment, in an inviting unconventional scene for all to enjoy. This is definitely not your father’s barbershop or your mother’s beauty parlor!

Mario B’s Productions provides a safe place in the community for talented inner-city youth ages 5-25, who are interested in modeling, dance & theater. The program takes a “New Breed” approach to the fashion industry by introducing a unique performance style called “Theatrical Modeling”, combining dance, fashion and theater, to create a contemporary approach to modeling. The curriculum uses music, cultural influences and originality as its base and expands into an array of Lights, Camera, and fashionable entertainment.

Amy Soderlind is a freelance Wardrobe Stylist. Some of her works can be seen in CHEW Magazine, Papercut, Fiasco and more. Working on her MFA at the Academy of Art, she found a way to simultaneously travel to different countries, finding a passion in working with artisans at their gifted craft. With hopes of a future business where she is able to deliver the goods “of the moment” directly to an American market that will respond and in turn, will significantly change the lives and communities she has fallen in love with. She is currently working on a line of accessories and hand batik head scarves for  Summer/Fall. She also runs her blog at www.refusestolabel.com

Brad Carrick is the owner and founder of SOLZ Shoes. SOLZ Shoes combines a lifestyle shoe company with an extendable microbranding platform.  It has designed and patented a unique, lightweight casual shoe that folds up in a small “capsule” that can be clipped on to bags or clothing. ABOUT: SFFAMA’s FASHION BLOGGERS CONNECT. Where fashion bloggers are given various platforms to promote themselves, share new tech and innovative fashion ideas in continuing to revolutionize San Francisco’s fashion industry with the guidance of San Francisco Fashion And Merchants Alliance.

  • FEATURING:

  • By day, Nicole Lindgren works in Search Engine Marketing for Delivery Agent. By night, she is the President of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising’s San Francisco Alumni Chapter and the editor of StyleBust.com. Nicole started Style Bust in 2009. She wanted to name the site after something nostalgic, a beer bust came to mind. She replaced beer with Style. Today there are 12 contributors writing for Style Bust on a regular basis. NICOLE LINDGREN is an active SFFAMA member. She’s been featured as a speaker at SFFAMA’s monthly workshop, ‘Fashion Mash-Up’, and ‘Fashion Blogger’s Connect’. Read SFFAMA Interview.

Always possessing a knack for the creative, San Francisco-based Graphic Designer and Blogger Molly Covert started out creating cruel break-up cards in the cutest way possible. Since Graduating from the Art Institute of California, San Francisco, she’s expanded her work to include greeting cards, tote bags, marketing collateral, custom stationery and various other graphic design-ish projects. Molly’s Rabbit Foot Fern was voted Best Etsy shop in San Francisco by7x7 Magazine in 2010.

Nickie Frye has held various positions with large retailers such as GAP, Cost Plus World Market, & Restoration Hardware, as well as working for several boutiques & independent fashion designers.  After having two children, she left the corporate world & reignited a passion for vintage clothing.  She now runs an online vintage clothing store called Nickie Frye & is the blogger behind Nickie Noel.  She lives with her husband & two children in Marin County where she enjoys collecting records, taking pictures, eating cookies, & surprising ladies at the preschool with her platform shoes.

Coming from a heritage of artful creatives and businessmen, fashion and the entrepreneurial spirit have always been in Alison’s genes. Her background pulls from studies in the Fine Arts, dwelling in Paris and the California wine country, writing both as the lead singer of an indie rock band and for her graduate studies in Fashion Journalism from The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and work in gallery operations and interior design. Combining these interests came in the form of her creation of the blog Eclectic à la Mode, which she calls a “haven to bring these elements together… as a sourcebook in the style of tasteful variety for the visually, philosophically, and auditorily inspired.”  Follow her blog at Eclectic à la Mode on Facebook and on Twitter
