Co.lection Sales Workshops for Up and Coming Fashion Designers

Altitude Showroom is proud to launch Co.lection – a workshop series focusing on the specific sales and preparation techniques that up and coming fashion designers must understand before approaching retail buyers. 

Topics include:

  • How to show the best linesheet and lookbook
  • How to time the release of each seasonal collection
  • How to show the best sample collection
  • How to determine if a store would realistically sell your line
  • How to prepare and invest properly in trade shows
  • What to expect when working with a sales rep / showroom
  • How to communicate with buyers and what to expect throughout the sales process and more!
Spring 2012 Workshop Calendar:

(All Workshops are 1 day – choose which day works for you.  All workshops are $50 to enroll and will take place at the Altitude Showroom, 680 8th St. #240, San Francisco, CA 94103 from 6:00pm-8:00pm) Enroll in All Four Spring Co.lection Workshops and receive an additional 45 minute individual brand consultation! Upon completion of the final Spring workshop, sit down one-on-one with Karri Ann Frerichs to get all of your sales questions answered, including:

“Is my collection competitively priced?"  "Which stores do you suggest I start contacting?"  "How should I start to contact those stores?"  "How can I make my collection stronger?"  and any other question you still have to make your brand the most appealing to retail buyers!  Click here to enroll.  


Co.lection Workshops are hosted by Karri Ann Frerichs, owner of the Altitude Showroom, a national fashion showroom headquartered in San Francisco.  Karri manages the sales and buyer relations for 6 women’s contemporary fashion and accessory brands and sells to stores nationwide.  The Altitude Showroom currently has sales reps in San Francisco, Dallas and New York, with plans to expand into additional American markets in the coming seasons.  The Altitude Showroom specializes in representing up and coming brands and understands the extra work, communication and commitment it takes to sell innovative, emerging brands in a market dominated by major brand names. Karri is also a professor in the Fashion Department of San Francisco’s City College.
