Alexa Varis started doing fashion illlustrations in 1991 when she was 8 years old and haven’t really put her pencil down since. Hailing from southwest Colorado, she arrived in San Francisco in 2004 to work in the music industry - which has changed exponentially since then. When that fizzled, she started taking fashion design classes and now consider herself a fledgling fashion designer, semi-pro fashion illustrator and n00b fashion blogger! She’s excited to join SFFAMA as an online art contributor by illustrating her little heart out, cooking up some rad clothing designs and producing fashion, art and music events around town.
